ግዱ ለእግዚአብሔር በፍርሃት። ቅድሜከ እግዚኦ ንሰግድ ወንሴብሐከ።
በፍርሃት ሆናችሁ ለእግዚአብሔር ስገዱ፤ አቤቱ በፊትህ እንሰግዳለን፣ እናመሰግንሃለንም።
Worship the Lord with fear. Before Thee, Lord, we worship, and Thee do we glorify.
ሎተ ንስሐ፤ ዲያቆን፦ ነጽሩ፤ ካህን፦ ቅድሳት ለቅዱሳን።
የንስሐ ጸሎት፤ ዲያቆን፦ ተመልከቱ፤ ካህን፦ ቅዱሳት ለቅዱሳን ናቸው።
"Prayer of Penitence” Deacon: Give heed. Priest: Holy things for the Holy.
ዱ አብ ቅዱስ ፩ዱ ወልድ ቅዱስ ፩ዱ ውእቱ መንፈስ ቅዱስ።
አንዱ ቅዱስ አብ ነው፤ አንዱ ቅዱስ ወልድ ነው፤ አንዱ ቅዱስ መንፈስ ቅዱስ ነው።
One is the Holy Father, one is the Holy Son, one is the Holy Spirit.
ግዚአብሔር ምስለ ኵልክሙ። ምስለ መንፈስከ።
እግዚአብሔር ከሁላችሁ ጋር ይሁን። ከመንፈስህ ጋራ
The Lord be with you all. And with Thy spirit
ግዚኦ መሐረነ ክርስቶስ
አቤቱ ክርስቶስ ማረን
Lord have compassion upon us O! Christ!
ለ ውስተ ንስሐ ሀለክሙ አድንኑ አርእስቲክሙ። ካህን፦ እግዚአብሔር አምላክነ ነጽር ላዕለ ሕዝብከ እለ ውስተ ንስሐ ......
በንስሐ ውስጥ ያላችሁ ራሳችሁን ዝቅ ዝቅ አድርጉ፤ ካህን፦ አምላካችን እግዚአብሔር ሆይ በንስሐ ውስጥ ያሉትን ሕዝብህን ተመልከት......
Ye that are penitent, bow your heads. Priest: Lord our God, look upon thy people that are penitent, ….
ንሥኡ ለጸሎት። እግዚኦ ተሣሃለነ።
ለጸሎት ተነሡ። አቤቱ ይቅር በለን
Stand up for prayer. Lord have mercy upon us.
ላም ለኵልክሙ። ምስለ መንፈስከ።
ሰላም ለሁላችሁ ይሁን። ከመንፈስህ ጋር
Peace be unto you all. And with Thy spirit.
ስዕለ ቅድስት ማርያም]

እግዚእየ ወአምላክየ ነዋ መሥዋዕተ ሥጋሁ ለወልድከ ዘያሠምረከ በዝንቱ ደምስስ ኵሎ ኃጢአትየ እስመ በእንቲአየ ሞተ ዋሕድ ወልድከ።
አምላኬ እግዚአብሔር ሆይ፤ ደስ የሚያሰኝህ የልጅህ ሥጋ መሥዋዕት እነሆ፤ በዚህም ኃጢአቴን ሁሉ አጥፋልኝ ስለ እኔ አንድ ልጅህ ሞቷልና።
Lord my God, behold the sacrifice of Thy Son’s body which plea Seth Thee. Through it blot out all my sins because Thy only-begotten Son died for me.
ነዋ ደሙ ንጹሕ ለመሲሕከ ዘተክዕወ በእንቲአየ በዲበ ቀራንዮ ይኬልሕ ህየንቴየ ይኩን ዝንቱ ደም ነጋሪ አስተሥርዮ ለኃጢአትየ አነ ገብርከ።
ስለ እኔ በቀራንዮ የፈሰሰ ንጹሕ የሚሆን የመሲሕህ ደም እነሆ፤ ስለ እኔ ይጮኻል፤ ይህ የሚናገር ደም የኔን የባሪያህን ኃጢአት የሚያስተሰርይ ይሁን።
And behold the pure blood of Thy Messiah, which was shed for me upon Calvary, cried aloud in my stead. Grant that this speaking blood may be the forgiver of me Thy servant.
ተወከፍ ስእለትየ በእንቲአሁ እስመ ፍቁርከ ተወክፈ ኵናተ ወቅንዋተ በእንቲአየ ወሐመ ከመ ያሥምረከ ወእምድኅረ ድኅንኩ ተመይጠ ሰይጣን ውስተ ልብየ ወወገዘኒ በሐሳዊሁ ሀበኒ እግዚኦ ምሕረተከ እስመ ኃያል ውእቱ መስተዐሪ።
ስለ እርሱም ልመናዬን ተቀበል ወዳጅህ ስለ እኔ ጦርና ችንካርን ተቀብሏልና፤ ደስ ያሰኝህም ዘንድ ታመመ፤ ከዳንሁም በኋላ ሰይጣን ወደ ልቦናዬ ተመለሰ በፈተናዎቹም ወጋኝ፤ አቤቱ ምሕረትህን ስጠኝ ጽኑ ከሳሽ ነውና።
And accept my prayers for its sake, because Thy beloved accepted the spear and the nails for my sake and suffered to please Thee. But after I was saved, Satan returned to my heart and pierced me through with his darts. Grant me, Lord, Thy mercy, because He is a powerful accuser.
በእንተ ኃጢአት ቀተለኒ ፈውሰኒ እምኃያል ዕቡይ ዘኢይጸግብ እምአስሕቶትየ እምሕይወት አንተ እግዚእየ ወንጉሥየ ወአምላክየ ወመድኃኒየ ዕጽፍ ቊስለ ነፍስየ ወሥጋየ አነ ገብርከ።
ኃጢአትንም ምክንያት አድርጎ ገደለኝ፤ እኔን ከሕይወት ማሳቱን በቃኝ በማይል በክፉ ደፋር አድነኝ፤ አቤቱ ንጉሤና አምላኬ መድኃኒቴም የምትሆን አንተ የባሪያህን የነፍሴንና የሥጋዬን ቁስል አድርቅልኝ።
And by the provision of sin he slew me. Avenge me of the audacious one who is not satisfied with my being led astray from my life. Thou, Lord, my King and my God and my Savior, bind up the wounds of the soul and body of me Thy servant.
እግዚእየ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ኢይደልወኒ ታብእ ውስተ ጽላሌ ቤትየ ርኩስ እስመ አዐለይኩከ ወገበርኩ እኩየ ቅድመ አዕይንቲከ ወአርኰስኩ ሥጋየ ወነፍስየ ዘፈጠርከ በአርአያከ ወበአምሳሊከ በሕልፈተ ትእዛዝከ ወአልቦ በላዕሌየ ሠናይ ግብር።
አቤቱ ጌታዬ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ሆይ፤ ርኩስ ወደ ሆነች ወደ ቤቴ ጣራ በታች ትገባ ዘንድ የሚገባኝ አይደለሁም፤ እኔ አሳዝኜሃለሁና በፊቶችህም ክፉ ሥራ ሰርቻለሁና፤ በአርያህና በምሳሌህ የፈጠርከውን ሥጋዬንና ነፍሴን ትእዛዝህን በመጣስ አሳድፌአለሁና፤ በእኔም ምንም በጎ ነገር የለኝምና።
O my Lord Jesus Christ, it in no wise beseemeth Thee to come under the roof of my polluted house, for I have provoked Thee to wrath, and have done evil in Thy sight, and through the transgression of Thy Commandment have polluted my soul and my body which Thou didst create after Thy image and Thy likeness, and in me dwelleth no good thing.
አላ በእንተ ሥርዓተ ፍጥረትከ ወትስብእትከ በእንተ መድኃኒትየ ወበእንተ መስቀልከ ክቡር ወሞትከ ማሕየዊ ወትንሣኤከ አመ ሣልስት ዕለት እሰእለከ ወአስተበቊዐከ እግዚኦ ከመ ታንጽሐኒ እምኵሉ አበሳ ወመርገም ወእምኵሉ ኃጢአት ወርኵስ።
ነገር ግን ስለ መፍጠርህና እኔን ለማዳን ሰው ስለ መሆንህ ስለ ክቡር መስቀልህም፤ ማሕየዊት ስለ የምትሆን ስለ ሞትህ በሦስተኛውም ቀን ስለ መነሣትህ ጌታዬ ሆይ ከበደልና ከመርገም ሁሉ ከኃጢአትና ከርኩሰትም ሁሉ ታነጻኝ ዘንድ እለምንሃለሁ እማልድሃለሁ።
But for the sake of Thy contrivance and Thy incarnation for my salvation, for the sake of Thy precious cross and Thy life-giving death, for the sake of my resurrection on the third day, I pray Thee and beseech Thee, O my Lord, that Thou wouldest purge me from all guilt and curse and from all sin and defilement.
እምድኅረ ተወከፍኩ ዝንቱ ምሥጢረ ቅድስናከ ኢይኩነኒ ለፍዳ ወለተኰንኖ አላ መሐረነ ወተሣሃለኒ ኦ ሕይወተ ዓለም በእንቲአሁ ሀበኒ ስርየተ ኃጢአትየ ወሕይወተ ለነፍስየ።
የቅድስናህንም ምስጢር በተቀበልሁ ጊዜ ለወቀሳ ለመፈራረጅ አይሁንብኝ፤ ማረኝ ይቅርም በለኝ እንጂ፤ የዓለም ሕይወት ሆይ በእሱ የኃጢአቴን ሥርየት የነፍሴንም ሕይወት ስጠኝ እንጂ።
And when I have received Thy holy mystery let it not be unto me for judgment nor for condemnation, but have compassion upon me and have mercy upon me; O life of the world, through it grant me remission of my sin and life for my soul.
እንተ ስእለታ ለእግዝእትነ ቅድስት ድንግል በክልኤ ማርያም ወላዲትከ ወበዮሐንስ መጥምቅ ወበኵሎሙ ቅዱሳን መላእክት ሰማዕት ወጻድቃን እለ ተጋደሉ በእንተ ሠናይ ግብር ለዓለመ ዓለም አሜን።
በሁለት ወገን ድንግል በምትሆን በወለደችህ በእመቤታችን በቅድስት ማርያም በመጥምቁ በዮሐንስም አማላጅነት፤ ክቡራን በሚሆኑ በመላእክትም በሰማዕታትና ለበጎ ነገር በሚጋደሉ በጻድቃንም ሁሉ ጸሎት እስከ ዘላለሙ ድረስ አሜን።
Through the petition of our Lady, the holy Mary of twofold virginity Thy mother, and of John the Baptist, and trough the prayer of all holy angels and all the martyrs and righteous who have fought for the good, world without end. Amen.

ላም ለኪ እንዘ ንሰግድ ንብለኪ ማርያም እምነ ናስተበቊዐኪ
ሰላም ላንቺ ይሁን እያልን እንሰግድልሻለን፤ እናታችን ማርያም ሆይ እንማለድሻለን
Peace be unto you, while bowing unto you, our mother Mary, we as for your prayers
ምአርዌ ነዓዊ ተማኅጸነ ብኪ በእንተ ሐና እምኪ ወኢያቄም አቡኪ ማኅበረነ ዮም ድንግል ባርኪ
ከአዳኝ አውሬ ታድኚን ዘንድ ተማፅነንብሻል፤ ስለ እናትሽ ሐና ስለ አባትሽም እያቄም ድንግል ሆይ አንድነታችንን ዛሬ ባርኪልን
Protect us from evil animals. For the sake of thy mother, Hanna, and your father, Iyakem, O! Virgin bless this day.
ወርድ መንፈስ ቅዱስ በላዕለ ኅብስት ወወይን ሶበ ይብል ካህን ጸጋ መንፈስ ቅዱስ ፈኑ
ካህኑ የመንፈስ ቅዱስ ጸጋ ካለ ባዩ ጊዜ መንፈስ ቅዱስ በኅብስቱና በወይኑ ላይ ይወርዳል
As the priest says let the Holy Spirit descend, on this revered Holy of Holies.
ዕከለ ዛቲ ቅድስት ቤተ ክርስቲያን ይዌልጦሙ በቅጽበት አባላተ ክርስቶስ ይኩኑ በኃይለ ጥበቡ መንክር ወዕፁብ ኪኑ
አስደናቂ በሚሆን የጥበብ ኃይልና በአስገራሚ ብርሃኑ በቅድስት ቤተ ክርስቲያን መካከል የክርስቶስ አባቶች ይሆኑ ዘንድ በቅጽበት ይለውጣቸዋል
The Holy Spirit will descend upon the bread and wine, His special Spirit will transform them in an instant with His wisdom towards the Flesh and Blood.
ላም ለክሙ ጻድቃን ወሰማዕት እለ አዕረፍክሙ በሃይማኖት
በሃይማኖት ያረፋችሁ ጻድቃን ሰማዕታት ሰላም ለእናንተ ይሁን
Peace be unto you, blessed and martyrs, who have died for the faith.
ዋዕያነ ዓለም አንትሙ በብዙኅ ትዕግሥት ሰአሉ ቅድመ ፈጣሪ በኵሉ ሰዓት እንበለ ንስሐ ኪዳነ ኢይንሣእ ሞት
በብዙ ትዕግሥት ዓለሙን ድል የነሣችሁ እናንተ፤ ከንስሐ ሳንበቃ ሞት እንዳይወስደን በየሰዓቱ በፈጣሪ ፊት ቆማችሁ ለምኑልን
Ye who have conquered the world by patience, pray for us day and night standing in front of our Creator, so that death will not take us before we have repented.
ላም ለክሙ ጻድቃነ ዛቲ ዕለት ኵልክሙ ዕድ ወአንስት በበአስማቲክሙ
በዚች ዕለት ጻድቃን ሁላችሁ ሰላም ለእናንተ ይሁን ወንዶችም ሴቶችም በየስማችሁ
Peace be unto you, all those blessed on this day, men and women according to your name.
ዱሳነ ሰማይ ወምድር ማኅበረ ሥላሴ አንትሙ ዝክሩነ በጸሎትክሙ በእንተ ማርያም እሙ ተማኅጸነ በክርስቶስ በሥጋሁ ወበደሙ
በሰማይና በምድር የከበራችሁ የሥላሴ ወገኖች፤ ስለ እናቱ ስለ ማርያም ብላችሁ በጸሎታችሁ አስቡን በክርስቶስ ሥጋና ደም ተማፅነንባችኋል
Ye that are glorified in heaven and on earth, friends of the Holy Trinity; remember us in your prayers for the sake of Mary and for the sake of Christ's flesh and blood, we beseech You.

ልዩ በእንቲአነ ወበእንተ ኵሎሙ ክርስቲያን እለ ይቤሉነ ግብሩ ተዝካሮሙ በሰላም ወበፍቅር ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ስብሑ ወዘምሩ
ስለእኛና አስቡን ስላሉን ስለ ክርስቲያኖች ሁሉ ጸልዩ፤ በኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ሰላምና ፍቅር አመስግኑ ዘምሩም
Pray Ye for us and for all christians who bade us to make mention of them. Praise Ye and sing in the peace and love of Jesus Christ.
