በመከራችን ሁሉ እግዚአብሔር ፍጹም ትዕግሥትን ይሰጠን ዘንድ ስለ ነፍሳችን ትዕግሥት እንለምናለን። እግዚአብሔር ከእነርሱ ጋር ይቆጥረን ዘንድ ስለ ቅዱሳን ነቢያት እንለምናለን።

For patience of soul we beseech, that God may vouchsafe us perfect patience in all our tribulation. For the holy prophets we beseech, that God may number us with them.

እግዚአብሔር ከእነርሱ ጋር ዕድል ፈንታችንን ያደርግልን ዘንድ ስለ ሐዋርያት እንለምናለን። እግዚአብሔር የሰማዕትነትን ሥራ ይሰጠን ዘንድ ስለ ቅዱሳን ሰማዕታት እንለምናለን።

For the ministering Apostles we beseech, that God may grant us to be well pleasing even as they were well pleasing, apportion unto us a lot with them. For the Holy martyrs we beseech, that God may grant us to perfect the same conversation.

እግዚአብሔር በዕድሜ እንዲጠብቃቸው፣ የእምነትን ቃል በንጽሕና ያስተምሩ ዘንድ ስለ ሊቀ ጳጳሳችንና ስለ ጳጳሳችን እንለምናለን።

For our Patriarch and the blessed Archbishop we beseech, that grant them length of days to be over us, that with understanding they may rightly speak the word of faith in purity without spot for that they are the defenders of the church.

እግዚአብሔር የክህነትን ሥልጣን ከእነርሱ እንዳይወስድ፣ ፍርሃቱንና ቅናቱን ይሰጣቸው ዘንድ ስለ ቀሳውስቱ እንለምናለን።

For the priests we beseech, that God may never take from them the spirit of priesthood, and may give them the grace of zeal and fear of Him unto the end and accept their labor.

ዲያቆናቱ አገልግሎታቸውን በንጽሕና ይፈጽሙ ዘንድ፣ ፍቅራቸውንና ድካማቸውን ያስብላቸው ዘንድ ስለ ዲያቆናቱ እንለምናለን።

For the deacons we beseech, that God may grant them to run a perfect course, and draw them high unto Him in holiness, and remember their labor and their love.

እግዚአብሔር የእምነትን ትጋት ይሰጣቸው ዘንድ ስለ ንፍቀ ዲያቆናት፣ ስለ አንባቢዎችና ስለ መዘምራን እንለምናለን።

For the assistant deacons and the anagnosts and the singers we beseech, that God grant them to perfect the diligence of their faith.

እግዚአብሔር ጸሎታቸውን ይሰማ ዘንድ፣ የመንፈስ ቅዱስን ጸጋ በልባቸው ያሳድርባቸው ዘንድ ስለ ባልቴቶችና ስለ ድሆች እንለምናለን።

For the widows and the bereaved we beseech, that God may hear their prayers and vouchsafe them abundantly in their hearts the grace of the Holy Spirit and accept their labor.

እግዚአብሔር የድንግልናቸውን ዋጋ ይሰጣቸው ዘንድ፣ ለእግዚአብሔር ወንዶችና ሴቶች ልጆች ይሆኑ ዘንድ ስለ ደናግል እንለምናለን።

For the virgins we beseech, that God may grant them the crown of virginity, and that they may be unto God sons and daughters and that He may accept their labor.

በመታገሣቸው እግዚአብሔር ዋጋቸውን ይሰጣቸው ዘንድ ስለሚታገሡ ሰዎች እንለምናለን።

For those who suffer patiently we beseech, that God grant them to receive their rewards through patience.

እግዚአብሔር እምነታቸውን በንጽሕና ይጠብቅላቸው ዘንድ ስለ ሕዝቡና ስለ ምዕመናን እንለምናለን።

For the laity and faithful we beseech, that God may grant them complete faith which they may keep in purity.

እግዚአብሔር ሁለተኛ መወለድን፣ የኃጢአት ስርየትንና የተባረከ ዕድል ፈንታን ይሰጣቸው ዘንድ፣ በቅድስት ሥላሴ ስም ማኅተምን ያሳድርባቸው ዘንድ ስለ ንኡሰ ክርስቲያን እንለምናለን።

For the catechumens we beseech, that God may grant them a good portion and the washing of regeneration for the remission of sin, and seal them with the seal of the Holy Trinity.

እግዚአብሔር ለዘላለም ሰላምን ይሰጣት ዘንድ ስለ ሀገራችን ስለ ኢትዮጵያ እንለምናለን። እግዚአብሔር ጥበቡንና ፍርሃቱን ይሰጣቸው ዘንድ ስለ ገዢዎቻችንና ስለ ባለሥልጣናት እንለምናለን።

For our country Ethiopia we beseech, that God may give her peace forever. For the rulers and those in authority we beseech, that God may grant them of His wisdom and His fear.

እግዚአብሔር ፈቃዱን ያፋጥን ዘንድ፣ ለሁሉም መልካሙንና የሚበጀውን ያስብ ዘንድ ስለ ዓለም ሁሉ እንለምናለን።

For the whole world we beseech, that God should hasten His purpose and put into the mind of all and each to desire that which is good and expedient.

በውኃና በየብስ በመንገድ የሚሄዱ ሰዎችን እግዚአብሔር በምሕረቱ ቀኝ ይመራቸው ዘንድ፣ በሰላምና በጤና ወደ ቤታቸው ይመልሳቸው ዘንድ እንለምናለን።

For them that travel by sea and by land we beseech, that God should guide them with a merciful right hand and let them enter their home in safety and peace.

ስለ ተራቡትና ስለ ተጠሙት ሰዎች እግዚአብሔር ዕለታዊ ምግባቸውን ይሰጣቸው ዘንድ እንለምናለን። ስለ አዘኑትና ስለ ተከዙት ሰዎች እግዚአብሔር ፍጹም መጽናናትን ይሰጣቸው ዘንድ እንለምናለን።

For the hungry and the thirsty we beseech, that God should grant them their daily food. For the sad and the sorrowful we beseech, that God may give them perfect consolation

ስለ ታሰሩት ሰዎች እግዚአብሔር ከእስራታቸው ይፈታቸው ዘንድ እንለምናለን። ስለ ተማረኩት ሰዎች እግዚአብሔር በሰላም ወደ ሀገራቸው ይመልሳቸው ዘንድ እንለምናለን።

For the prisoners we beseech, that God may loose them from their bonds. For the captives we beseech, that God may restore them to their county in peace.

ስለ ተሰደዱት ሰዎች እግዚአብሔር በትምህርቱና በትዕግሥቱ ያጸናቸው ዘንድ፣ ለድካማቸውም ፍጹም ዋጋቸውን ይሰጣቸው ዘንድ እንለምናለን።

For those who were sent away we beseech, that God should grant them patience and good instruction, and give them complete reward for their labor.

ስለ ታመሙትና ስለ ደከሙት ሰዎች እግዚአብሔር ፈጥኖ ይፈውሳቸው ዘንድ፣ ምሕረቱንና ቸርነቱን ይልክላቸው ዘንድ እንለምናለን።

For the sick and the diseased we beseech, that God should heal them speedily and send upon them mercy and compassion.

በቅድስት ቤተ ክርስቲያን ወገን ስለ ሞቱት ሰዎች እግዚአብሔር የዕረፍት ቦታ ይሰጣቸው ዘንድ እንለምናለን።

For those who have fallen asleep in his holy church we beseech, that God may vouchsafe them a place to rest.

በደል ስላለባቸው ስለ አባቶቻችንና ስለ ወንድሞቻችን እግዚአብሔር ቁጣውን ይመልስላቸው ዘንድ፣ ዕረፍትና ከቁጣው መዳንን ይሰጣቸው ዘንድ እንለምናለን።

For those who have sinned, our fathers and our brothers we beseech, that God cherish not anger against them, but grant them rest and relief from His wrath.

በሚሻው ቦታ እግዚአብሔር ዝናቡን ያዘንብ ዘንድ ስለ ዝናብ እንለምናለን። የወንዞችን ውኃ እግዚአብሔር እስከ ልካቸውና እስከ ወሰናቸው ይሞላ ዘንድ እንለምናለን።

For the rains we beseech, that God may send rain on the place that needs it. For the water of the rivers we beseech, that God should fill them unto their due measure and bounds.

ለመዝራትና ለማጨድ እግዚአብሔር የምድርን ፍሬ ይሰጣት ዘንድ ስለ ምድር ፍሬ እንለምናለን።

For the fruits of the earth we beseech, that God may grant to the earth her fruit for sowing and for harvest.

በጸሎት የምንማጸንና የምንለምን ሁላችንንም በሰላም መንፈስ ይጋርደን ዘንድ፣ ጸጋውንም ይሰጠን ዘንድ፣ የልባችንንም ዓይኖች ያበራልን ዘንድ፤ ቀርበን እግዚአብሔር ጸሎታችንን እንደ ፈቃዱ ይቀበል ዘንድ እንማጸነው።

And all of us who ask and beseech in prayer, may He cover us with the spirit of peace, and give us grace, and enlighten the eyes of our hearts. Let us draw high and ask God to accept our prayers according to His will.

እንግዲህ በመንፈስ ቅዱስ እንነሣ፤ በጸጋው እያደግን፣ በስሙ እየተመካን፣ በነቢያትና በሐዋርያት መሠረት ላይ እንታነጽ፤ ቀርበን ጌታ አምላካችን ጸሎታችንን እንደ ፈቃዱ ይቀበል ዘንድ እንለምነው።

Let us therefore rise in the Holy Spirit, growing in His grace, with understanding, glorying in His name and built upon the foundation of the prophets and the apostles. Let us draw high and ask Lord God to accept our prayers according to His will.
