የጥበብ አገሯ ወዴት ነው? ማደሪያዋስ ወዴት ነው? ወሰኗስ ወዴት ነው? ፈለጓስ ወዴት ይገኛል? .... ዲያቆን፦ ጸልዩ።

"Prayer of Fraction" Where is the country of Wisdom, where is its abode, where is its province, and where can the trace of its way be found? .... Deacon: Pray ye.

አባታችን ሆይ በሰማያት የምትኖር ስምህ ይቀደስ መንግሥትህ ትምጣ ፈቃድህ በሰማይ እንደሆነች እንዲሁ በምድር ትሁን የዕለት ምግባችንን ስጠን ዛሬ በደላችንንም ይቅር በለን እኛም የበደሉንን ይቅር እንደምንል አቤቱ ወደ ፈተና አታግባን ከክፉ ሁሉ አድነን እንጂ መንግሥት ያንተ ናትና ኃይል ምስጋናም ለዘለዓለሙ አሜን።

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven; give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive them that trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation but deliver us and rescue us from all evil; for Thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory for ever and ever.
